Sis. Anne Godley serves in the St. John Ministry as president of the Adult  and Youth Ushers.  She declares and humbly leads the others  with the scripture Psalms 84:10,  For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.  As you enter into God's house, the entire team ensure the members and guests alike are welcomed with the spirit of Christ. 

The purpose of the Ushers in the house of God is to greet attending guests and members with a smile, briefly speak words that build and encourage, and to help them get seated.  Ushers also participate in altar call and receive the offering.  Ushers provide direction to proper areas in the facility and direct people to the appropiate staff for further assistance.
