The male chorus was organized to bring men together for the purpose of encouraging and building others up in the faith through songs which ministers to the heart and soul.   Psalm 100 tells everyone to make a joyful noise unto the Lord all ye lands.  Serve the Lord with gladness.  The men of the St. John Male Chorus gladly come together in fellowship and practice to ensure the command is carried out in John 12:32 when Jesus said, "And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me."  All that is done is to the glory of God.   

You can hear the St. John Male Chorus sing on third Sunday mornings each month at 8:30am.  Brother Bobby Purvis and the St. John Male Chorus also hold an annual Brothers In Unity Concert at St. John in February.  Male Choruses from surrounding communities are invited and come together in fellowship.
