Senior Citizens Ministry
 

This purpose of this ministry is to minister to the whole man; mind, body, and spirit.   As people get older, some may be under the notion that there is not much to do, but God has a plan for everyone regardless of their age.  For Philippians 1:6 says, "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ."  There is always work to do in the kingdom.   

As the seniors come together once per month on third Wednesdays at 10:00am, they come with expectation of spiritual and physical food and exercise.  Members and visitors alike also know there will be opportunities to journey together on a few field trips as well.  The benefits of this ministry to all who participate are countless.  The Senior Citizens ministry is not just for members of St. John, everyone is invited to attend and participate to receive what God has waiting just for you.
This ministry is lead by Evangelist Patricia Black under the leadership of Pastor Black.
